A day to eat the rainbow

Today's task is to buy five vegetables and fruits of different colors: red, orange, green, purple, and white.


A potential set for the day: tomatoes, carrots, spinach, plums, and onions. In diversifying your diet, you'll get more of the nutrients your body needs.

For example, red vegetables contain a lot of lycopene, which is useful for the heart and blood vessels - and purple vegetables contain anthocyanin antioxidants.
